History
Thibault Levasseur was left abandoned upon the doorstep of wealthy Ishgardian family of elezen. Despite the initial rejection by the patriarch of the house for being a Duskwight, the infant Thibault was welcomed as one of their own by the matriarch and her only young child.Though adopted into a life of incredible priviledge and wealth, Thibault was treated much like the 'outcast' he truly was in the eyes of the Lord Levasseur and the company he kept. However, it was the love provided to him by the Lady Levasseur and his adopted brother that reassured Thibault of his place within the house, and the Ishgardian nobility.However, tragedy soon befell the House Levasseur when the eldest son, Thibault's brother and heir to the Levasseur legacy was struck with a sudden illness and passed. Not long after the death of the young man, so too did the Lady Levasseur meet an untimely end, leaving Thibault alone with the abusive Lord Levasseur.Over the years, Thibault was conditioned into being neither seen, nor heard, but educated nonetheless in the ways of the family business, and in a variety of subjects including advanced academics, fencing, and the arts. In time, Thibault became an accomplished artist and though he was still stigmatized among the nobility of Ishgard, his works became a much coveted commodity.The late Lord Levasseur has sense passed under curious circumstances, and many whisper about his untimely demise even to this day. Thibault, now head of the House Levasseur and it's business ventures remains the reclusive artist he ever was, but now turns his aspirations elsewhere...
